Osama Faisal
Osama completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Genetics at the University of Sheffield, followed by a Master’s degree in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics at the University of Leeds. He started as a junior lab technician and he is now working as a research assistant in Balmus Lab.
His research primarily focuses on TDP43 protein and its Q331K variant, investigating its relation with survival using CRISPR screens and whole-genome studies.
